Padiatric Respiratory Medicine
In our clinic we provide specialized care for children suffering from a wide variety of respiratory diseases, such as asthma, acute and chronic respiratory infections (persistent bacterial bronchitis, bronchiectasis), congenital and inherited lung disease (e.g. cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia) and interstitial lung diseases. We see children with persistent or recurrent symptoms such as cough, wheezing, stridor and breathing difficulty are examined. We assess lung function of children suffering from chronic systemic diseases.
The young patients’ approach is individualized on the basis of personal communication with the parents and patients themselves. The Hippocratic principle of addressing patients rather than diseases is our deep conviction.
